Phoenix Courses:

PT Garden Leadership                                                                                                         

A gardening and leadership course where students will work in the garden and in the classroom to learn about how local food and gardening can impact the community. Our class has the following learning goals: garden planning to provide food security, maximize production, and create spring and summer crops plans; community and local non-profit outreach and involvement; event planning and fundraising; improve garden skills; environmental sustainability as it relates to food security, farming practices, and the long-term success of the school garden; and incorporation of fun garden projects and self-care activities.
